ICICI Prudential Dynamic Asset Allocation Passive FOF NFO 2026: Complete Review, Strategy, Risks & Should You Invest? The mutual fund industry has been seeing increasing interest in dynamic asset allocation , where the equity and debt allocation can change depending on market conditions. Now, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has launched a new product called ICICI Prudential Dynamic Asset Allocation Passive FOF . The interesting part is in the name itself. It is Dynamic Asset Allocation because the fund can change its allocation between equity and debt. It is a Passive FOF because instead of directly selecting individual stocks and bonds, the scheme primarily invests in passive equity and debt-oriented index funds or ETFs. This makes the fund different from a traditional Balanced Advantage Fund and also different from the existing ICICI Prudential Dynamic Asset Allocation Active FOF. In this article, let's understand the fund from every important angle — what it is, how it work...

Why most Indians don't Invest in stock market.

Why most Indians don't Invest in the stock market.

India can become an economic superpower if at least 25% of Indians start investing in the stock market. But we lack in investment because of many reasons.

Don't know about the stock market.

Lack of knowledge is the main reason for not investing in the stock market. People don't know how the stock market works and lack interest in it. People know about big companies but they don't know how they operate, how the system works. Stock market seems like a fantasy world to them. Everywhere they read, hear about big companies but they just don't pay attention. Newspapers only print about their prices or momentum, but they don't print about their workings.

Lack of trust in stock market

A few years ago every now and then newspapers printed about scams and frauds with big headings. This has created fear in minds of common people. Scams like Harshad Mehta, Ketan Parekh, Nirav Modi have built such fear that they tend to stay away from stock market. In these scams, people lose tons of money and trust. People with hard-earned money stay away from it. But after Harshad Mehta Scam SEBI has tightened the rules. People also know that many shares have made people millionaires over time. As psychology says fear always wins.

Availability of many options.

There are many options available rather than stocks. People prefer safer options. There are FD, RD, PPF, NPS and many more financial instruments available to invest in. They give guaranteed returns. But over a long period, these are not very helpful in generating wealth.

Love of physical assets.

Gold, Silver, real-estate. You can touch them, feel them, it stays in front of eyes. Indian people are ford of gold. There is so much gold lying in Indian households that we can buy many countries from it. India is so gold-rich. Government has tried many tactics to reduce household gold and make it circulating but failed. From the last decade the price of land and real estate has increased in rocket speed. People are preferring land and real estate as another asset class.

Robin hood trading or investing

After March 2020, there was a spike in Demat account opening. They had just started trading without and basic knowledge. It becomes gambling if you trade without proper research. Most will become inactive in some time. They just want to double their money in just a small period of time. And this is not going to happen. They think that it can become a second income source. But with lack of knowledge, they will lose money and leave the market forever. Only proper guidance will help them make money. Only people with patience can do this.

Lack of Patience

Everybody wants to get rich fast and without any hustle. people come to the stock market to get rich quickly. A stock market is a place of patience that rewards hefty returns. People come to stock market to double their capital overnight. Instead of earning they lose it. They leave the market broken heart and never come back.

Rumors and myths about stock market.

The stock market made people from crorepati to road pati. Can double the money overnight. The stock market is the place where we always lose money. Stock market is a gambling place. That is true but partially. Many have created fortunes from it. Like Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Radhakrishna Damani, PR Sundar and many more. These are the name whom we know but there are numerous silent investors. We are here to make responsible investors. Knowledgeable investors should come forward and teach investing. Even in schools, the basics of stock market should be taught so that they can learn about money management. There are no formal financial education classes or chapters in books in college also. Financial education should become a mandatory subject in colleges of India.

Please comment your thoughts and help people to invest in the stock market.

How I learned savings in my young age. | Money saving tip.

There is no right age for saving money. When you were a toddler, your parents must have already started saving for you. Now, you are at that age where you understand the concept of saving. You can start right away.             I remember when I was very young my parents bought me a Gullak (piggy bank). It was made out of tin (not a regular clay vessel). My parents were wise enough to share the lesson of savings with me. They regularly gave me some pocket money with a condition that half of the money must go into gullak. I always use to put half of my pocket money in gullak. Rest of the money I spent and left everything I put again in gullak. This habit developed a sense of saving inside my mind. Which tremendously helped me in my coming years. So, one by one I filled 5 gullaks with hard cash. They were very heavy to carry.               In school, my classmates came on a b...
